Seniors’ Picnic

The Indian Society of Calgary is excited to announce its upcoming picnic for seniors on August 5th, 2023 This event is open to all seniors in the Calgary area and promises to be a fun-filled day of food, games, and socializing.
The picnic will be held at Edworthy park, a beautiful park in the city, with plenty of shaded areas and comfortable seating for everyone. This will be a potluck but refreshments and light snacks will also be provided. In addition to the food, there will be several games and activities planned for the seniors to enjoy. The Indian Society of Calgary understands the importance of socialization and community involvement, particularly for seniors who may be more isolated or lonely. This picnic is an opportunity for seniors to meet new people, enjoy a day in the park, and connect with others who share their interests and culture. Registration for the event is free and can be done online through the Indian Society of Calgary’s website. The event is expected to be well-attended, so early registration is recommended.
