Holi-Festival of Colours

On March 18th, the Indian Society of Calgary organized a Holi celebration at Bowness Park that attracted over 700 people. The festival, also known as the “festival of colors,” is a Hindu tradition that celebrates the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. The event was a lively affair, featuring music from a DJ, colorful powder, and traditional Indian food. Attendees had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities, including playing with colors, dancing to the music, and taking photos using a 360-selfie camera.
