Our Mission
The Indian Society of Calgary promotes social, cultural, and economic inclusion of Indian immigrants in Alberta by serving as a unifying platform for individuals of Indian heritage living in Calgary. We encourage fellow Indians to come together beyond the boundaries of states, religion, and castes, and provide an open, safe, and supportive platform for interaction and mutual support, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

The Indian Society of Calgary envisions a cohesive and integrated community of individuals of Indian heritage residing in Calgary, where cultural diversity is celebrated, and everyone has a sense of belonging. We strive to be a leading organization promoting social, cultural, and economic inclusion and providing a platform for interaction, support, and growth.
Mandate
- Promote social, cultural, and economic inclusion of Indian immigrants in Alberta
- Provide support for newcomers, foster community, and offer programs for personal and professional development independently and in collaboration with other organizations
- Maintain food bank, encourage blood donation drives, and promote health and wellness
