Indian Society of Calgary has been an incredible support for me and my family since I moved to Calgary. From the moment I joined, I felt welcomed and connected to a community that understands the unique challenges and joys of being an Indian in a foreign country. The group is a treasure place of practical advice, from navigating visa issues to finding authentic Indian groceries and restaurants.
I have made lasting friendships through this group. Whether it’s celebrating festivals together, sharing job opportunities, or just exchanging stories about life here, ISC feels like a second family. It’s a place where you can ask any question, no matter how big or small, and know that you’ll receive helpful and supportive responses. I highly recommend this group to any Indian living abroad—it’s a wonderful blend of cultural warmth and practical support.
