Naari Shakti: International Women’s Day

On March 4th, the Indian Society of Calgary celebrated Women’s Day to honor and recognize the achievements of women in the community. The event was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the progress made towards gender equality and to raise awareness about the issues that women still face. The event included a variety of activities, including guest speakers, panel discussions, and cultural performances. The society’s representatives provided information about the various programs and initiatives aimed at supporting women in the community, such as mentorship programs and networking events. The event was open to all, and attendees had the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals and build meaningful relationships.
